WWF Raw And Smackdown Results

Smackdown kicks off with a press conference run by Stephanie and Triple
H with all the wrestlers. They first can't get their attention until
the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac told them to shut up. Stephanie says
Vince and Shane aren't here that night. Triple H says that anyone who's
been held back will be given a chance to shine and those who have had
everything handed to them on a silver platter will have it taken away.
Stephanie tells Mick Foley that he will face Al Snow tonight. Triple H
tells The Rock he'll get a title shot tonight against the Big Show.
Show and The Rock just look each other. This is the dawn of the
McMahon/Helmsley era.
Smackdown itself starts and out comes the Big Boss Man and Prince
Albert. Bossman takes the mic and tells everyone to shut up. Asshole
chants. Reminds the crowd of what he's done to Al Snow and the Big Show
and just wait till what he does to the rest of the roster. Y2J
countdown and out comes Jericho to a big pop. Jericho tells Bossman
that his mom should have told him if you don't have anything nice to
say, then don't say anything at all. Jericho says if you don't have
anything to say, then shut the hell up. Jericho enters the ring and
challenges one of them for his newly won inter-christen-ental title.
Prince Albert takes him up on the challenge.
WWF Intercontinental Championship Match
Chris Jericho vs. Prince Albert
The woolly mammoth goes right after Y2J. Out comes Chyna and The Cat to
ringside. In the back, Triple H and Stephanie are shown in the back
celebrating with champaign. Jericho attempts the Walls of Jericho while
the Bossman jumps on the ring apron. Bossman tosses in the nightstick
to Prince Albert prompting Chyna to get in the ring and delivering a low
blow. Albert drops the nightstick and Jericho picks it up to knock down
Fuzzy Wuzzy. Jericho executes the Lionsault and pins Prince Albert for
the victory.
Triple H and Stephanie are shown in the back again. Stephanie asks if
women surprise him. She says she's going to ringside to check out Kurt
Angle. Triple H asks who his opponent is and she says it's Test.
Stephanie leaves with Triple H following.
Triple H tells Stephanie that he tells her what to do. Stephanie says
she's going to ringside to the displeasure of Triple H who would rather
have her stay to drink champaign and have fun.
Kurt Angle vs. Test
"The Real Athlete" Kurt Angle comes out to a lot of heat and doesn't
take the mic. Test comes out to a good pop. Lights go out, 1, 2 is
this on? Stephanie comes out to ringside. Test with a swinging
neckbreaker followed up by a sidewalk slam. Stephanie goes to do color
commentary distracting Test. Angle with a roll up and a kick out.
Stephanie gets up to blow Test a kiss. The King sucks up to Stephanie
and says he's excited about the McMahon/Stephanie era. Test gets mounts
a comeback with rights and a clothesline. Test with a gut wrench power
bomb. Angle kicks out. Test with a full nelson slam. Test puts Angle
at the turnbuckle and goes up to deliver rights. Stephanie gets out of
her seat and tells the timekeeper to ring the bell. Angle wins by
disqualification. Test walks up towards Stephanie around the ring and
up the ramp. Stephanie taunts him with the wedding ring. Stephanie
continues up the stage. X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws get out from the
side of the ramp and attack test. Michael Cole questions whether this
is a set up. The 3 DX members hold Test. Triple H comes out and hits
him in the nose. Michael Cole refers to Test's broken nose.
Slam Cam Slam of the Week is Jeff Hardy's centon bomb.
Paramedics help Test to the back during the break. The Stooges are
helping Test along with paramedics. Stephanie and Triple H show up and
Test tries to go after them. Triple H says that the Stooges will
wrestle for the tag titles tonight against the Outlaws. Stephanie says
if they don't do it, they're fired.
Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy
Starts off with technical moves. Matt with a back body drop. Jeff with
a side suplex. Both Hardys get pissed at each other to a huge pop from
the female fans. Terri tries to get in the ring and they shove her out.
The two start to go at it. The battle spills to the outside, Jeff
attempts a backbody drop. Matt hits the ropes and ends up with a DDT.
Back in the ring, the two exchange high flying moves. Jeff misses a
spring board leg drop and hits Matt on the outside. Jeff with a rolling
centon bomb. Back inside the ring, Jeff tries a superplex. Matt ends
up a delivering a face plant. Matt tries a superplex. Jeff with a
rolling centon bomb. Jeff attempts the cover and Matt kicks out. Jeff
with a Russian leg sweep. Jeff tries a 450 splash and lands on his
feet. Matt with a sleeper slam and pins Jeff for the victory. Matt and
Jeff hug each other and Terri joins them.
Stephanie and Triple H are shown in the back. Tori shows up and says
that there will be no more humiliation. Stephanie says Tori will face
her tonight. Tori leaves and Stephanie tells Triple H she can take
Tori.
Triple H and Stephanie are shown in the back again. The Mean Street
Posse come in and say they learned their lesson. Joey Abs wishes her
luck. The Mean Street Posse asks if their is anything they can do.
Stephanie says their is.
Tori comes to the ring for the match. Kane is shown in the back
watching on the monitor. Triple H and Stephanie make their way to the
ring. Tony Chimel announces Stephanie as Stephanie McMahon Helmsley.
Stephanie has a the mic and said the reason she made this match is so
she can humiliate her and Kane. Kane is shown in the back being
attacked by the Mean Street Posse. Triple H and Stephanie do some color
commentary for what's going on backstage. Tori starts walking up the
ramp. Stephanie tells her to stop and introduces her real opponent,
X-Pac.
Tori vs. X-Pac
Tori gets back in the ring. X-Pac gets in the ring. Tori gets out, but
Stephanie throws her back in. Tori spits at X-Pac. X-Pac shoves Tori
in the corner and she slumps down. Stephanie gets on the apron to
distract the referee while Triple H holds Tori. X-Pac with a Bronco
Buster. Stephanie gets off while X-Pac executes the X-factor for the
victory.
During the break, Kane comes down to the ring and carries her to the
back. Kane and Tori are now shown live while they're leaving the
building. Mean Street Posse are with Triple H and Stephanie. Stephanie
says they did a good job. Triple H says they did a bad job and rewards
them with another match with the Acoltyes.
Al Snow is the back speaking behind a door that says DX on it. He
thanks them for everything and says he appreciates it.
Mankind vs. Al Snow
Tony Chimel announces that it's a pinfalls count anywhere match.
Mankind comes to a huge pop. Al snow comes out with Head and a baseball
bat. Mankind starts with the momentum. Mankind is hammering Snow in
the corner. Al Snow to the ropes and Mankind with an elbow. Mankind
turns his attention to the crowd and then turns back to Snow who rams
him in the stomach with the back. The battle spills to the outside.
Mankind with a chair to the head. Mankind with a chair to the back. Al
Snow is laid down on a chair in the announcer's booth. Ref counts to
two and Snow gets away. Mankind follows him and Snow gets a cookie
sheet from under the ring to mount an attack. Snow uses a trash can
lid. The battle goes back in the ring and Snow chokes Mankind with a
ribbon. Snow misses a shot with a steel street sign. Mankind with a
double arm DDT on the sign. Mankind puts Socko on and Snow jumps to the
outside. Snow with a suplex on the ramp. The battle goes back in the
ring. Al Snow puts on a bowling shirt and takes out a bowling ball.
Mankind uses tongs and gives Snow a testicular claw. Mankind hammers
Snow down in the corner. Mankind bowls to Snow's crotch. Mankind
clotheslines Snow to the outside and uses the trash can lid on the
outside. The battle goes up to the stage and behind the ovaltron. The
two go to the backstage and down a corridor. Snow with rights to
Mankind's skull. They battle in front of the door with the DX sign on
the front. The two go inside the room and are not seen. Snow gets
thrown out the door beat up. Mankind comes out and pins Snow. The Rock
comes out of the room holding a chair. The Rock pulls off the DX sign
revealing a sign that says The Rock.
The Stooges are in the back conferring. Patterson is sensible in
knowing they'll get hurt. Brisco is optimistic about winning the tag
titles.

Lights out. "You think you know me." The spotlight searches the
audience and Edge gets in the ring. Taz's symbol is shown on the
ovaltron. Looks like another brother vs. brother match.
Triple H and Stephanie are shown in the back enjoying themselves. The
Outlaws show up to join them.
Edge vs. Christian
The two brothers lock up. Technical moves by both men. Christian
attempts his version of the inverted DDT. Edge with a knee to the
stomach and a headlock. Edge to the ropes and executes a spinning heel
kick. Christian to the outside. Edge is rammed into the ring.
Christian runs back in the ring, jumps on the middle rope and jumps Edge
on the outside. The battle gets back in the ring. Christian with a
suplex and then follows up with a reverse suplex. Edge attempts a
powerbomb, Christian reverses into a roll up, Edge reverses into a roll
up. Christian attempts a dropkickj but Edge turns it into a powerbomb.
Edge misses a spear and Christian attempts a tamakaze to no success.
Edge reverses a roll and gets the victory due to a ref screw up
receiving a large pop from the female fans. The two brothers embrace
and leave.
The Mean Street Posse are shown trying to leave the arena. Triple H and
Stephanie stop them and say if they don't get back in the arena, they're
fired.
The Lugz boot of the week is Bradshaw's chair shot to Pete Gas on Raw.
Acoltyes vs. Mean Street Posse
Acolytes come out to huge pop. Faarooq with tomahawk chops to the
crowd. Mean Street Posse come out reluctantly and receive heel heat.
Acolytes go right at the Posse. Faarooq with a spinebuster to Rodney
and pins for the victory. Joey Abs and Pete Gas come back into the
ring. Faarooq powerslams Joey Abs while Bradshaw pounds Pete Gas.
Faarooq with 2 tomahawk chops to Abs' head. Bradshaw throws Abs into
ring steps held by Faarooq on the outside. The Acoltyes with a double
spine buster to Pete Gas and a spike powerbomb to Abs.
Lillian Garcia is the back interview JR. JR says he's embarrassed for
the fans and the McMahon family. He describes Stephanie as something
that rhymes with witch, but starts with a B.
Stephanie is shown talking to JR and tells him to say what he said about
her. JR refuses and she slaps him in the face.
Rikishi Phatu and Too Cool vs. Viscera and the Hollys
Too Cool and Rikishi come out to a nice pop. The King plugs the Austin
internet action figure. The Hollys and Viscera come out to good heel
heat. Crash and the Grandmaster start in. Christopher with the early
momentum. Crash tries a leg scissor take down, but is turned into a
power bomb. Hardcore is tagged in. Grandmaster with an armbar and tags
in Rikishi. Rikishi with a side kick to the face of hardcore. Scotty
is tagged in. Scotty with the worm. Michael Cole calls it the
centipede. Scotty posts Hardcore's crotch from the outside. Hardcore
takes the momentum. Hardcore with a suplex and tags in Viscera. Scotty
tries to mount an offense. Mabel..I mean Viscera executes a Samoan
drop. Scotty is held up by the throat and tags in Hardcore. Hardcore
with a clothesline and pin attempt. Hardcore goes up top and gets a
boot to the face coming down. Scotty tags in Rikishi and takes down the
Hollys. Crash to the outside and gets pummelled by the Grandmaster.
Viscera throws Scotty to the outside Viscera is squashed by Rikishi in
the corner and clotheslines Hardcore. Rikishi attempts the the sitting
piledriver. Viscera interrupts him. Rikishi has Hardcore in the
corner. Viscera attempts a squash, but squashes Hardcore instead.
Viscera to the outside. Rikishi with the Banzai drop onto Hardcore for
the victory. The crowd claps for them to dance and they get a nice dark
display for a performance.
The New Age Outlaws are talking in the back about their match with the
Stooges and says wait till they find out it's a no DQ match.
TErri is shown with Santa Claus. Terri doesn't understand why she keeps
having to tell her the naughty things she has done. Santa says humor
me.
"I am a Real American." It's Hulk Hogan. Yeah right. The Stooges come
out.
WWF Tag Team Championship No DQ Match
New Age Outlaws vs. The Stooges
The Outlaws come out to a pop. They inform the Stooges they better have
their families sign so they can't sue them if the Stooges have a heart
attack. Brisco with the salt trick to Mr. Ass. Patterson pummels Road
Dogg with a loaded sock. Patterson witha Boston Crab on Road Dogg and
Brisco with a figure four on Mr. Ass. Outside the Road Dogg hits
Patterson with brass knuckles. Road Dogg sets up Brisco for a pump
handle slam, but actually holds him for Mr. Ass to deliver the
fame-ass-er for the victory.
The Rock and the Big Show are shown on split screens.
The Western Union rewind is the incident between JR and Stephanie and
Triple H.
WWF Championship Match
The Rock vs. The Big Show
The Rock comes out to a huge pop and doesn't get on the mic. After Big
Show's entrance, Stephanie and Triple H come out to the ramp to watch
the match on a set up party area. Triple H tries to tell the two
competitors something and gets asshole chants. Triple H says it's a
lumberjack match while Triple H sits in a lazy boy and Stephanie sits on
his lap. Outcome the lumberjacks: X-Pac, NAO, Dudley Boyz, Mean Street
Posse, Viscera, Prince Albert, Mideon, Al Snow, the Hollys, Kurt Angle,
and Gangrel.
Big Show gets the early momentum. The Rock quickly regains the
moemnturm. Stephanie is drinking champaign sitting on Triple H's lap.
The Rock takes down the Big Show and Big Show kicks up. The Rock is
knocked to the outside. Here come the vultures to beat on him and throw
him back in. The Big Show is thrown out of the ring and is flocked by
vultures once again. The Rock attempts a cover prompting DX to get on
the ring apron. The Rock knocks them all down and Rock Bottoms the Big
Show. The Rock is thrown out of the ring and gets beat up. He is
thrown back in and gets chokeslammed. Big Show goes for the cover and
is pulled outside the ring to get beat on. THe Rock regains the
momentum. The Big Show is knocked outside the ring. All the
lumberjacks flock to the Big Show. Mankind comes out and rolls out a
cart full of goodies. The Big Show, Mankind and The Rock all take
weapons and take out the lumberjacks. Viscera in the ring with The
Rock. The Rock with a Rock Bottom. Triple H and Stephanie stand up.
The Rock with a People's Elbow. Triple H and The Rock are arguing as
the show goes off the air.
